What happens next
- Tell us what you've noticed and where.
- An independent provider contacts you to discuss locating and repairing the leak.
- Providers may use acoustic tools, thermal imaging, pressure testing or cameras depending on the situation.
Safety comes first
- If water is coming through a ceiling, keep people out of the area — saturated drywall can collapse.
- Keep water away from electrical fixtures and turn off power to affected circuits if it's safe to do so.
- Shut off the main valve if the leak is active and can't be isolated.
